Research In Motion just announced that BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES 10), a device management system, is now available for government agencies and corporate clients.

BES 10 is a successor to RIM’s enterprise mobility management (EMM) and consolidates device management, security and mobile applications management for BlackBerry smartphones, Playbook tablets and BB 10 smartphones. It also provides a single console for managing BlackBerry, Android and iOS devices, and supports BlackBerry Balance technology, which separates work applications from personal content. Other features include:

  • Support for secure access to work email, content and secure connectivity to “behind the firewall” applications and data.
  • BlackBerry World for Work, the new corporate app storefront for BlackBerry 10 smartphones that allows organizations to manage apps for employees by pushing mandatory apps to devices
  • Rich management controls for securing and managing work profiles

This video presents a walkthrough of BES 10′s features.

BB10 is scheduled to launch on January 30.
